It's balance in all sound frequency, and it's good for classic music. If you like heavy bass, you'd better give it up.
Before purchasing these headphones I read most of the recent reviews here on Amazon. I'm going to try pushing past the discomfort for the next few days to see if my ear will get used to it, but I highly recommend trying these earphones on before purchasing them if you can.Overall, I gave this product a 4/5 stars, since the sound quality is excellent. I certainly would enjoy them more if they were more comfortable, but don't get me wrong. I was skeptical, and figured this had more to do with the shape of your ear, and that they would be fine.After enjoying the great sound quality of these earbuds on a flight yesterday for 12 hours, I must admit that my left ear was a little sore. Slight discomfort should be expected, but I'm assuming you can get used to it. The 13.5mm driver is suprisingly large, and won't fit well in all ears in my opinion. one in particular about the lack of comfort on these headphones. I'm certainly no hardcore audiophile, but I can appreciate a nice set of earphones, and these are nice.
The ear canal is fine, but the driver that sits adjacent to the canal in your ear does push on my ear somewhat. and although I did wear the headphones almost my entire flight, in the end it was considerably painful to put the earbud back into my ear. even knowing about the slight discomfort these things come with, I would still buy them again.Overall, I do recommend these earphones. I can sleep in them as well, with my ear on the pillow, no problem.
The worst part is that in few days, I noticed the differences in the earphones that I have from the authentic sony MDREX90LP earphones. At first sight, the ear buds didn't look authentic and sound was tinny. I bought these earphones recently. I was surfing through ebay the other day and to my surprise I came to know that nowadays fake sony MDREX90LP earphones are being sold by few people. Th earbuds were not comfortable and my ears started to pain a bit and also developed slight irritation in the ears. I contacted amazon and they were kind enough to give me a refund. I found out that my earphones were fake ones. Amazon is reliable for shopping various products but be aware of the fake ones from different sellers on amazon.
I bought this earphones from amazon market place and I got a fake one.Watch out. I got it again from amazon.com LLC. [.].This site helps in identifying fakes.But obviously the sound is terrible.Also as soon as you open your item it will smell bad from the fake leather box. The real smells like leather. The sound is awesome.If you know about earphones this sounds like the Sony MDR 888A little weak bass but this is to get the all round quality sound overall the bass the mid and the highs are excellent. Not overwhelming in any aspects.Note, the one I got from amazon is made in Thailand not China.I think there are two types.
Although this is not one of those fancy-schmancy noise-blocking earphones, this pair does damp down environmental sounds.It fits comfortably in the ear and performs very well for the commuters that enjoy a soundtrack to their travels.
